1. Our Branch started on the 9th of August 1981.
2. Stake Relief Society Leadership meeting was held on 12th September 1981 at Ramah Chapel. Each ward and branch had to organise a survival kit and put it on display for various emergencies. Even though our branch was just over one month old we managed to put on a pretty good show. Our special thanks to Kathy Churchill for all her hard work.
3. Our branch had their first social on 26th September 1981. We had a braai and everyone enjoyed themselves tremendously.
4. Stake had a picnic at Galoolies farm on the 10th of October. We had a full turn out and everybody played games, enjoyed a braai and then the treasure hunt!
5. 30th October brought the green and gold ball which was very enjoyable.
6. November 4th was spent with the Stake Relief Society packing parcels for the boys at the border. Thanks to those who contributed and gave up time to help pack.
7. Our Branch Christmas party was held on the 12th of December 1981. The children had a fancy dress and all looked beautiful - a very difficult task for the Judges to find the best 3! The Adults had to make special hats and what imaginations some of us had! Especially the BP!! Father Christmas was enjoyed by all and the clowns took the cake!
