The Spanish Fork Press announces Alex Bankhead's death.
"Local News," Spanish Fork Press (January 23, 1902):[4]
Alex Bankhead died January 9th and was buried the 11th. Uncle Alex, as he was some times called, was an inoffensive creature, minding his own business and interfering with the rights of no one, and though his skin was not as fair as ours he was a good old citizen, and a large number turned out to show their last respects and convey his body to its last resting place. Rest in peace.
