In the days of Adam the cry was: "Believe on His Only Begotten Son, even him whom he declared should come in the meridian of time, who was prepared from before the foundation of the world. And thus the Gospel began to be preached from the beginning, being declared by holy angels sent forth from the presence of God, and by his own voice, and by the gift of the Holy Ghost. And thus all things were confirmed unto Adam, by an holy ordinance, and the Gospel preached, and a decree sent forth, that it should be in the world, until the end thereof; and thus it was. Amen." Contrary to common worldly concepts, people in Adamic days were supremely intelligent. Father Adam had more of the knowledge that saves than all the so-called divines and scientists combined who believe contrai-wise. It was Mormonism that saved Adam: Adam was the original earthly founder and first member of this church. He holds the keys of salvation under Christ for all the dispensations, and he will preside over the whole human family forever. He is our Prince.
