Tuesday, Spent this day— on the Iowa side of the [Mississippi] river Forenoon went in company with Elders [Sidney] Rigdon & H[yrum] Smith, Bishops [Newel K.] Whitney & Knights [Vinson Knight] and others to visit a purchase lately made by bro ther Knights as a location for a town,

Advised that a town be built there,
