If you ask me here to show you proofs of what I have been stating in the Jewish scriptures, I shall quote a few out of the abundant testimony therein. Did God bring a deluge upon the earth, destroying men and beasts, without a warning? No! Did not Noah, a preacher of righteousness, ceaselessly warn them a hundred and twenty years? Should not every stroke of his hammer have brought home to their minds conviction of the awful probability of a coming flood? Yes! if they had believed Noah's testimony of God's revelations; oh! how sad are the effects recorded of this UNBELIEF!
