A sight never witnessed before in the history of Mormonism in this section was that of three negro converts from Southern Georgia. Two were men and one of them was accompanied by his wife. In conversation with a Times reporter, they expressed themselves as being delighted with their new faith and were confident they would be happy in their new homes.
