Theatrical.—On Tuesday night the Hidden Hand was presented. The piece follows the story from which it is dramatized pretty closely, and the story is one full of incongruities and improbabilities. Yet there are ample opportunities for making mirth in it, which were taken advantage of on Tuesday night, and the risibles of the audience were often excited. The introduction of the negro minstrel scene including the walk around was something novel, but was quite successful, being given considerable spirit.
