bussurtu (passurtu, basratu) s.; unexpected tidings (usually good); . . . ūmu ubla bu-su-ra-tu-ma (what) the day brought me (is) only good news (incipit of a song) KAR 158 r. ii 15; note ṭuppi-bu-us-su-rat ḫadê [u su]lummê tušēbila a[na] ma[ḫa]r [ilū]tija (I, Aššur, will deliver your enemies into your hand and) you will send a tablet with the good news and news of peace to My Majesty (referring to the reports of the NA) kings to the god)
