An Ordinance in relation to a ferry across the Mississippi River

Section 1 Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Nauvoo, that Brigham Young is authorized and licenced to keep a ferry across the Mississippi River at the City of Nauvoo in place of Joseph Smith martyr’d under the same privileges and restrictions and regulations specified in an Ordinance entitled an Ordinance to establish a ferry across the Mississippi River at the City of Nauvoo passed June 1st. 1843

Section 2 This Ordinance to be in force from and after its passage.
