We perceive that Maj. Noah, of the N. Y. Evening Star, was to have delivered a lecture before the Merc. Lib. Association of that city of Tuesday, on the identity of the last ten tribes and a half of Israel with the Indians of America. The Rev. Ethan Smith, under the title of "Views of the Hebrews," very ably sustained this position many years since.
