J. Reuben Clark, Office Diary, January 8, 1943, MS 303 addendum, Box 13, Folder 1, J. Reuben Clark Papers, BYU, HBLL
Bro. James H. Moyle. Had a long (1 hr 45 min) talk with Bro. Moyle. He came to inquire why I thought the Constitution of the U.S. was in peril as I stated in my talk at the last October Conference. He told of his early humble beginnings - I told him of mine. Finally, I told him that our Constitution was threatened because of the communistic tendencies sponsored mainly by the Jews: he said he could not understand the President’s amenability to Jewish influence. I said the Constitution was threatened by the increase of Executive Power.
