With these thoughts in mind, let us take a brief survey of the modern missionary work of the Church and see what the Elders and the supervisors are doing to adapt their proselyting methods to the changing times. . . .

In Germany, Herr Hitler has sought the services of the Elders to teach basketball to the teams he hopes will achieve a Nordic victory at the Olympic games to be held this year in Berlin.

In connection with the athletic participation of the Elders, which provides an opportunity for making friends and for setting up Mormon ideals of sportsmanship and health, the missionaries have employed food shows and health programs, with a Word of Wisdom theme to advantage.
