CHAPTER I.

THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM

A description of Jerusalem; and of the Temple. This destruction foretold by Christ; with various signs of the event.

Seven miraculous portents of it.

. . .

CHAPTER II.

THE CERTAIN RESTORATION OF THE JEWS, AND THE TEN TRIBES.

Prefaced with an account of the Expulsion of the Ten Tribes.

Five arguments in favor of a literal Restoration.

CHAPTER III.

THE PRESENT STATE OF THE JEWS; AND ESPECIALLY OF THE TEN TRIBES.

The Jews were "dispersed;" the Ten Tribes "outcast," and lost for 2500 years from the knowledge of the civilized world, as well as of the Jews.

. . .

Arguments to show that the American natives are the descendants of Israel.

. . .

The Israelites must come to light about the present time, and in a savage state; and must be ascertained as Israel by their own savage traditions. The Indians then, furnish just such kind of evidence as must bring the Israelites to light; and probably they furnish ten times more of this kind of evidence, than any other people on earth. And no insurmountable objection appears against their being the descendants of Israel.

CHAPTER IV.

An Address of the Prophet Isaiah to a people of the last days, to aid in the restoration of the Hebrews; with evidence, that this address is to the Christian people of our States; who in the address are most highly honored above all old and anti-christian nations.

CONCLUSION.

The Excommunication of the Hebrews is an affecting and instructing subject.

. . .

Evidence is adduced from more than 40 authors, travellers, traders, and missionaries, among the Indians; and most authentic documents are furnished in favor of the arguments that the American natives are the lost tribes of the house of Israel; and that their most huge valley of dry bones is at last discovered.
