. . . the spirit of God rested upon Brigham and he cursed the nation by the authority and power of God and the Priesthood given him and all the Saints said amen. He was never known to curse so much in his life as on that day. The nation, the land of Missouri, that sickness should not allow an but the righteous to live upon it, and old Colonel Miller, . . .
