Both President and Sister Talmage expressed words of commendation to those who had taken part and to the author of the program. Sister Talmage explained the reasonableness of modern revelation and admonished the children not to forget the things they had learned. President Talmage told how in the days of Noah the people ridiculed this servant of God, who was building an ark inland; but that the time came when rain fell in torrents and the great waters heaved beyond their bounds, and then it was too late for the people to escape the deluge. He declared with all solemnity that God did speak to His prophets in the olden days and that He is similarly speaking to-day.
