18-19: The animals listed in these verses are anachronistic from a New World perspective. It is noteworthy, however, that since the Jaredites preceded the Law of Moses, there was no prohibition for them against swine. The identification of cureloms and cumoms is uncertain since the terms are unique to the BoM.
